Gold-tone jewelry rooted in Akan tradition.
About Us
Moya + Jules = MoyaJulearings
Two names. Two royal families of Côte d'Ivoire — Agnibilékro and M'Batto. One jewel, built to last.
MoyaJulearings carries the name of Moya, our founder, and Jules, her late husband. Two lineages, united forever in every piece we create.
Meet Moya
Moya trained as a freight forwarder — a woman who spent her career making things move, getting what needed to cross borders across the finish line. But long before retirement, she was already running her own small businesses on the side. Not by choice, but by necessity — to feed her family and raise her children against every odd. That same determination, forged in effort, never left her.
Today, Moya is a grandmother to more than five grandchildren. A full life, built on the strength of hard work, faith, and refusing to quit.
Neither Moya nor Jules had an easy childhood — despite their royal bloodlines, both had to fight to build their own path. Very young, Moya discovered a truth that never left her: wearing a beautiful piece of jewelry made her stand taller. It was never about vanity. It was a quiet declaration — from a woman who refused to let circumstance make her smaller.
From Retirement to a New Beginning
On December 31, 2024, after decades of work, Moya retired. Many people stop there. Moya chose to see it as a starting line instead. She rose once more — and launched her own brand, carried forward by everything she had lived through to get there.
Our Style: The Akan Heritage
The Akan are a major ethnic group of West Africa, found primarily in Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, and Togo. Since the 13th century, Akan artisans — including the Baoulé of Côte d'Ivoire — have hand-cast goldweights using the lost-wax technique: small sculptures loaded with meaning, passed down as treasured heirlooms from generation to generation.
That is the heritage we bring back to life. Every motif — spiral, fan, radiating sun — draws from this Akan memory, reimagined for today's woman: modern, bold, rooted.
Our Promise
Durable-quality, fashion gold-tone jewelry that never loses its shine or its meaning. Because royalty should never be out of reach — and because every woman who wears us deserves to stand as tall as Moya always has.
Wear your heritage. Wear your strength.
